Please, try to prepare your own beans when possible.
HOW TO COOK BEANS
- Soak the beans in water for at least 6 hours up to overnight.
- In a large pot, rinse the beans for any small debris, pebbles, etc.
- Bring the beans and water to a boil. Then bring the temperature down to medium-low and simmer for 1.5 – 2 hours, depending on the type of bean. The beans are done when they are soft.
- Store in water in the refrigerator for 5 – 7 days.
